I spy, with my little eye, something that is maru-shaped……

Man, if I could be a fraction as relaxed as cats are, I would feel much better. 😀

I wish I could a video of the lead up to how this developed!

That is a very good question, new commenter! (and welcome!) Since Maru never needs much incentive to crawl into things, I assume Maru’s owner just tossed the sack out there and let nature take its course.

I just wish I could buy that cool stuffed cow that has the world map on her sides.

I think people have spotted it on Amazon. Spotted–get it? I kill myself sometimes.

Hana would melt if she were any more relaxed.

And what, pray tell, is “whim”?

        Also, any Norbert sightings?

        • allein February 19, 2016 / 2:45 pm

Whim: a capricious or eccentric and often sudden idea or turn of the mind

So I’m guessing this pillow is prone to becoming not-a-pillow at any time, as it strikes his fancy.

Thanks you for the clarification – I had not seen “whim” used adjectivally before but I think you are correct in your assessment.(OK, where are the emojis on my regular computer keyboard????)

I’m guessing the English phrasing is a translation error.

I thought “man, that pillow looks really lumpy and uncomfortable.”

  6. Ilonka February 19, 2016 / 12:19 pm

This is my new stressball!! I felt waves of relaxation watching Hana & her pillow😀

  7. Clairdelune February 19, 2016 / 12:44 pm

I noticed that Maru’s tail has a life of its own – it seems to be in constant motion regardless of what Maru is doing. 🙂

  8. Lurkingduck February 19, 2016 / 12:44 pm

People, I am officially done my Christmas shopping as of now. This year, everyone on my list is going to be getting a pillow with a twitchy tail.

    • Lurkingduck February 19, 2016 / 2:27 pm

I wonder if I can find one that purrs…

    • Saffron February 19, 2016 / 2:36 pm

Can I be on your list? I took one of my kittehs for her annual vaccines today and now I have an angry pillow with a twitching tail. 😀

I am embarrassed to admit that I rlly thought that Maru had disappeared, possibly through cat-napping or worse….. Then, when I spied His Girthness’ face peeping out of the pillow, I figured it out….
Got me that time!!; (Probably not the last time either: they don’t call me the Gullible Queen for nothing)

    • amyliz February 19, 2016 / 7:32 pm

Ha, I fell for it, too! 😏 If you are the gullible queen, then I am the duchess!

Oh geez, I have become that person who wants to reach and wipe the eye-sleep-crunch from Hana’s eye. *sigh, yup*

This scene happens every night in my bed, except I’m the pillow for my cat Mia.
