Send In the Stunt Panda!

Chengdu,Β China — Filming began today on the action movie Super Panda Cop Action Squad 4. The movie will employ high-tech green screen computer effects…

“Now, in this scene, you need to jump off the mag-lev space raft…”

Plus all of the rough-and-tumble stunts the series is known for.

“I need to see more waving legs, please.”
“Aaaaaaaand, CUT!”

I can’t bear to watch, fkaWaldenPond. Story, more photos at the Daily Mail.

He’s just practicing his gymnastics skills. Where’s the next Olympics gonna be?

He appears to be fine. There are lots more cute pictures at the link.

I’m assuming so. One of the many attendants supervising this event rushed up as the baby fell right on his little snoot. It looks like these babies are getting good care.

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of “action” in Super Panda Cop Action Squad 4, it looks more like a snooze fest. LOL!!

One of them appears to be grey and white. Am I seeing things?
    Adorable, all.

No, I saw him clearly in the pics in the link. He’s tiny and looks like he fell in a vat of bleach. I wonder if the other pandas make fun of him?

I see him too – also in the Daily Mail pix, there’s another gray & white one toward the far right of the platform – less pronounced, though.

There’s part of me that loves the one who goes against the grain. The rogue. The rebel. The one who sees the opportunity to escape and takes it! The wakeful one who doesn’t nap when told. The rest of them look eerily photoshopped onto a green screen.

    • AB October 4, 2016 / 12:01 pm

I’d identify more with the rebel who takes a nap whether he’s told to or not! But then my spirit animal is a sloth.

Awash in fuzzy butts – life is good.

Rogue Panda: “I meant to do that!”

Also – Rogue Panda is my new band name…

I read an article recently about one of the reasons panda populations are in trouble. Apparently the female is only in heat for something like 24 – 36 hours each year, and THEN she’s very choosy. Plus, since mating is such a rare thing, pandas don’t see other pandas having at it so they don’t know what to do. In China they’ve taken to showing them panda porn.

Question of the moment: What sound does a Panda make ?

“Boing” when he lands on this nose

I would have thought it would be more like “ouch” in Chinese.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I wish I loved anything as much as pandas love falling over.

Please. Someone. Who has access to photoshop kindly insert a panda head on Chow Yun-Fat’s visage. (Yes, he is dreamy but work with me peeps.) πŸ˜€

    From the interwebs:
Giant pandas are born tiny (about 100g or 4 ounces), blind, white and helpless. The mother cradles her tiny cub in a paw and doesn’t leave the den for several days after giving birth, even to drink. Cubs soon develop soft gray fur, which becomes coarser and develops its black and white pattern in a month.
