These Bengal kittens love to play on the slide!
There are cats, and then there are Bengal cats, the playfully pouncy spotted speedsters who love to run, climb and explore. So what happens when you let a mama Bengal cat and her kittens loose in a backyard playground? You get three and half minutes of romping, sproinging, wrassling fun that doesn’t stop even when the music does.
Super fun, Cheryl S.
Tires me out just watching them.
Let me guess: mama drinks her coffee with catnip, then nurses the babies.
That slide is so slippity…
We have seen this video here before, but it is so cute, I could watch it every day.
Found it! Allein posted in in the comments on this post from 2018:
I did? Huh, whadda ya know…?
Oh so it was in the comments, this is why I couldn’t see it in the “you might also enjoy” section. Sorry, it was not a separate post then.
I knew I’d seen it before but I didn’t remember posting it.
Mom looks like she’s having as much fun as the kittens.
I had the exact same thought…
Bouncing is what Tiggers do best!
The Energizer Bunny has nothing on these little guys!
Their tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms are made out of springs!
Gorgeous kitties! And, the slide-down-crash-into-the-sibling-who-leaps-in-the-air part is hilarious. 😻
Every time I thought I’d counted everybody, another set of spots would appear! Loved warching them try to climb up the bottom of the slide. Hoomin kids are yelling that it’s unfair for kittens to hog the slide.
Carmen get it!
Carmen in, the water’s fine!
Carmen, let’s play!
Okay, you get the idea.
Complete tangent: Did anyone else call this a “sliding pon(d)” when they were a kid?
I very vaguely remember it – might be a NYC thing?
Do we figure the hoomins were putting the kittens on the slide platform? I never saw any sign that they could, or knew to even try to, climb the ladder. If so, the hoomins did a good job of keeping out of the picture (except for one tending the garden way in the background) so it felt like it was all the cats’ idea. If it was ONE hoomin, s/he did an especially good job — lift the kittens, then quick get back to the camera before they slide down.
Maybe only a bebe goat could out-sproing these kittens.
I agree with dubravkamcvmd about the mommy cat. Usually the parents look half-annoyed, half-weary when the kids carry on like that.
The thread ending “I knew I’d seen it before but I didn’t remember posting it” is a wonderful example of this site as a community. Collective memory, collective contributions. Thanks, NTMTOM.
