“X” Marks the Spot

As a bewildered Captain Blackbeard stepped into the suburban living room, he was almost certain that the treasure map he had spent his last doubloons to obtain was a complete fake. Then suddenly he stopped, scarcely believing his eyes. There it was, exactly as shown on the faded parchment in his hand. And soon, after a generous offering of chopped tuna followed by a bit of jackhammering, the fabled Lost Gold of the Conquistadors would be his at last.

I’m having a hard time imagining jackhammering through a terry-cloth towel and a cushy sofa. But whatever it takes to get the treasure. Especially tuna.

Love this! They look so comfy, wish I could join them. Kinda grey and cool here in SoCal so perfect napping weather.

Could Blackbeard have misread the map? Maybe the X doesnโ€™t mark the treasure. Maybe the golden marmie X IS the treasure.
I would definitely treasure this pair.

Looks like Fred and George when they were still kittens. Adorable!
