Peeps, can I get some good thoughts for my darling Beano cat? She’s been hiding since yesterday afternoon and I’m a little worried. It could just be the upset of moving, but when my 16-year-old baby doesn’t come out, I get nervous.

Yes for sure. They are such creatures of habit and moreso routine. One of my kitties hid after a move and finally came out but very very warily. Looking and sniffing, looking and sniffing. Just so tense! But then she found her favourite chair and curled up on it. We could literally see her body relax!!
I found her this afternoon, hiding under the daybed. Poor baby, every time she finds a quiet spot, I come along and pack up everything she hides behind.

Pupper getting a licking and still keeps ticking. So sweet! Glad to have some cuties to cheer me up. This sounds like everyone is having a Monday – missing kitty (hope Beano comes out soon!), Covid worries – and I need some good thoughts for my BIL. This is the BIL that got scammed with the rental house, and just finally got everything back to normal. Welll, he ended up in hosptial with an infection, and he is just not getting better. They’ve been operating on him trying to get all the infection out, and he’s been on a ventilator, etc. In fact last night, he went into cardiac arrest and they had to resuscitate him. I’m worried that if he doesn’t make a miraculous recovery today, he’s not going to make it. And he’s only 48! with 14-yr old twins! I know he has health issues from diabetes but sometimes life is just not fair.
