It’s really not uncommon for a bear to stand up on it’s hind legs so I don’t get the whole “it’s a man in a bear suit” rumor unless these people have never seen a bear before.
Poor doggy just wanted to play, I’m glad nobody was mean to him and they just carried him out but it’s too bad he lost the ball.
Sunbears are oddly proportioned. They sometimes do look like people in bear suits. The illusion falls apart if you, y’know, pay attention. But then again maybe I’m just more aware of the state of the art of animal costumes than most people??
I think it’s the butt wrinkles, legs and feet. If you cover the top half of the pic it does look suspicious. His back is straight! But when you see the top part, you go “bear”.
To be fair, there’s a recent Asian guy on the news who paid over $20K to get a super realistic dog costume made just for him because he really really really wants to be a dog.
I’m not familiar with the latest bear fashion, but this bear seems to be wearing shoes.
