Look, everybody! Somebody left Thanksgiving dinner for us!

From sender-inner A M, it’s “Javelinas on our front porch. Big, medium, and pint sized! No sound with this video. Munching on our house plants until the dog barked and scared them off.”
Super excited to see my video posted! Thanks! Our plants still haven’t recovered.
I was happy to see that you more impressed with the wildlife than your plants. That was awesome thank you!
Look at he itty biddy little babies SQUEEEEE!!!
Great video, Alison! I was watching the small adults, thinking they were the babies…and then the tiny babies came along – so cute!
Thanks! Those babies were too cute. ?
That’s a great video. Ain’t no javelinas where I come from. And that’s why I love websites like this.
First I thought it was going to be large, medium and small. What a wonderful surprise to see tiny babies. Those plants look yummy! Running off to google Javelinas. I learn so much science from the cute.
Javelinas are also called peccaries. Arizona Sonora Desert Meseum had two when I was a kid. Gregory Peccary and Olivia de Javelina. I Always smile when I think of them. Thanks Alison!!!
Lol! It took me two looks to “get” the names.
??
The Adventures of Greggery Peccary! by Frank Zappa.
Darn! Video is not available,
Search YouTube for “Greggery Peccary” and it’ll come right up. Zappa was a genius.
Need an upvote button (when you get around to it). Must. Upvote, Zappa. (And also tiny tiny peegs.)
You’re welcome and thanks for the comment. Glad some folks are enjoying the video. 🙂
Did anyone else think of those little piglet plastic farm animals?
Itsy-bitsy piggies! I want one!!!
Those babies were the tiniest and so cute! Never heard of Javelinas so I googled which brought up a bunch of horrible hunting pictures. Augh. I’m still recovering. However, among those, there were some darling pictures of mamas and their tiny, cute babies.
Oh dear – thanks for the warning! I wonder if you narrow the search to, say, ‘javelinas not hunting’ or ‘cute javelinas’ if it filters out the bad results.
A better way would be to search Flickr. Not only will you see only photos, but they’re likely to be pleasant, especially with “safe search” enabled. Try clicking this: https://www.flickr.com/search/?text=javelina&safe_search=1
ah thanks Mike. Those pictures soothe my soul.
Cool! Always looking for better search techniques.
After viewing…super cute pix. Javelinas do seem to like people’s patios…and compost piles…and trash cans…! Looks like they are the equivalent of raccoons here in New England.
Ahhh, the wee lettle ones…
