Aside December 10, 2015December 10, 2015Not That Mike The Other Mike

I’ve removed the upvote/downvote buttons from the main page to reduce clutter, but you can still see and use them in their normal place below each post. I welcome any comments you may have about this change. Update: The old way had some support, so the buttons are back on the main page.

Oooo! Pretty. They may not get used as often now but I like how it cleans up the look of the main page.

Yeah, definitely agree that you won’t get as many votes. I liked it the other way, but hey, whaddaiknow. 🙂

Did you decide to put the vote Up and Down back? Or did they just come back on their own?

  I put them back on the main page as an experiment, and discovered that the thumb icons don’t display in this context! And I have no idea why. Grrr. I’m taking them off the main page again.

    Hah! Fixed it. OK, since there’s been some interest in seeing the buttons on the main page too, back they go.
