The comment subscription system I installed a couple of weeks ago proved to be unreliable, so I’m restoring the older method. This means that you can only subscribe to message threads you participate in. However, if you want to subscribe without leaving a comment, try this one weird trick:
- Enter a token comment.
- Check “Notify me of follow-up comments by email.”
- Submit your comment.
- During the five-minute editing period, click “Click to edit” and delete your comment.
- When you receive a email asking you to confirm your subscription, click to confirm, and you will be subscribed.
Steps four and five don’t have to be done in that order.
Ha! Trixie Mikxies! π
What did we ever do to deserve you?
Thank you for taking care of us. π
Yay! “One weird trick” that actually works! You rock, Mike!
I wonder if the frog on your head thing works, too…anyone tried it?
That doggie and froggie combo is awesome! I just like looking and laughing though. Haven’t tried the belly fat thing aspect of it. But give me the doggie and froggie and I’ll be happy to jump around with them. π
I do want to let you and NTMTOM know that I suscribed with my comment up above and from that I got an email notification of your first comment of, “I’mma try it”. π So, not too many shenanigans with your comment acrobats.
One more thing, how do you pronounce your name? I keep stumbling while reading when I hear it in my head. Smooth sailing once I know the final answer. π
Yeah, I figured anyone subscribed would get an email. I probably won’t go to the trouble of using the trick; just wanted to try it out. Then I had to Google and see if it came up with any good pics cuz I loled at the “one weird trick” bit. π
Name is pronounced al-leen. First syllable rhymes with gal (or anipal!).
Thank you! From now on I will hear AnipAllein when I see your contributions and it will make me smile.
Totally appropriate. π
We do lean on our anipals for their happiness support. Thanks NTMTOM for enabling us. π

Hmmm..one large Bufo toad placed firmly on my noggin and…nuthin’. More internet tomfoolery.
Well, are you fuzzy like the above reference photo? Also, I would think a small lean frog would encourage small leanness. A large Bufo toad would encourage large Bufoness.
Nods head, yep, that must be how it works.
Excellent point. I am neither particularly fuzzy nor did I engage the services of a lean frog. A fatass Bufo was definitely not the road to take. Thank you for your wisdom.
Darn.
How did you get into this profession without studying for it at school?
