Great picture for Tortoise Tuesday! A good illustration of how large Sulcata tortoises become. People think they stay small, or don’t relize what they have purchased when they buy the babies. We have 5 of these from a previous owner. We have lots of room for them to grow! Always have trouble uploading pictures. Google @azfamilyzoo or we’re on instagram if you want to see more tortoises. Keep up the good work NTMTOM! Thanks for the cute and the writing!
Hey Alison – Do you follow Sammy Kaepernick on Twitter? Sammy is Colin Kaepernick’s Sulcata that has been with the family since Colin was 9 years old. And even though Colin is an NFL quarterback, he does not have his own place and so Colin and Sammy the Tortoise live with Colin’s parents!!!
I don’t have twitter. I’ll have to google it and look it up though. Thank you!
I love mom taxi photos!
Thanks for pointing that out. I just added a “Mom Taxi” tag, and I’ll be on the lookout for more MT situations.
Yay!&tvm,NTMTOM!
Love the grumpy little face on the bottom left lol
Wow!! It’s like looking at a collaged mug shot.
Front, sides, back, face, and future. Love this. Thanks NTMTOM.
That is an *excellent* Mom Taxi, I must say. I love tortoises! They look so placid, and yet they have such personality. Although Mom needs to use a napkin when she eats all that grass. 🙂
Turtles all the way down!
