Jeddah is a juvenile bat getting expert care due to injuries. And that includes lots of cuddles and head skritches, which Jeddah enjoys very much. Speakers UP!
Nice find, Andrew Y.

Puppies with wings, flying with jazz hands! I hope he gets better, soon.
“Jazz Hands”
Excellent!
That is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. What a face! I would cuddle and scritche it full time to get those squeaks and the expression on that sweet little face.
Pretty sure his eyes crossed, he was so happy and purring!
That’s chortling in joy if ever I’ve heard it.
Flying doggies. Smart too. Love the opposite direction nostrils.
P.s. I saw this yesterday and thought of us at NTMTOM. I’m not exactly sure how to suggest posts. Thank you.
Hi Faye, at the top of page there’s a link “Send me stuff” – the email address is ntmtom@notthatmiketheothermike.com
Have fun! I’ve been using it copiously.
Thank you!
Sorry, I’m not in the bat-camp (rodents with wings? EEEEEK) but I upvoted the post to support all of you who do love bats, plus NOMTOM.
They are totally not rodents.
Phobias are not based on logic or fact. They’re just sheer irrational terror.
I fell the same way about bugs, all of them including the “cute” butterflies.
Wait, bats are bugs, aren’t they?
LOL!!
Deborah, that’s so nice of you to upvote bats even when they give you the jeebies – that’s dedication! 🙂
I am going to resign from my current employment to take up work as a bat-cuddler!
And to Deborah Gerish–you are a good person! Not everything is for everyone, but respecting each other’s opinions is what makes this an awesome site. That and our illustrious host–cheers to NTMTOM!
So if that’s a juvenile bat…how much bigger is it going to get??? Seems a pretty good size now. And I have to admit, with a face like that, I’d still snuggle him.
Fruit eating bats get to be quite big. I seem to remember a 3 foot wingspan, but I could easily be mistaken. Insect eaters are not nearly so big, but I love them because they are not only cute, but they eat bugs. Tons of bugs. Yay for the bug eaters!
Is this bat baby eating fruit or does it still get formula? Who would know?
All the babies are squeaking this week: Rhrinos, Bats, Otters…
It’s an edition of THE SQUEAKY WEEKLY!
I didm’t have time all day too busy so i’m catching up on today’s post starting with this cute little guy. When he is release I’m sure he’ll tell the other bats “humans are strange and they can be dangerous but they give the best head skritches!”
Adorbs!
Yay, bats!
This guy’s name is setting off my nerd alarm, though. Bonus points for anyone who’s thinking of the character I’m thinking.
