If your bunnies are on their backs, they may have bad bunny batteries. Bunny batteries are orange and are sold in the produce section of your supermarket. Simply insert a bunny battery into the battery compartment located just beneath the nose.

Qu’ils Sont adorables! I faint from adorabletude. Where can I get sleeping bebeh buns?
It’s the phantom post from last week! I was wondering when it would be back!
I have a whole bag of bunny batteries in my fridge. They are more than welcome to come by for a recharge.
Me, too. I saved this image ages ago into iPhoto, as I do many photos (including that goofy bassett hound NTMTOM uses sometime) but as usual it wasn’t complete until Mike added his two cents – wait, his commentary is worth more than that!?
I, too, wondered when the phantom post would appear! I have seen this pic many times, but NTMTOM’s story/hovertext makes it one for the coffee table book!???
Do bunnies often sleep on their backs like that? Because if so this picture would be a great advertisement for bunny rescue/adoption. It’s hard to imagine how creatures can be more adorable than that. As adorable, yes. More, no.
Sleeping on their backs like that is not the usual norm. They can be relaxed and you can lay them that way. Often, they are in a trance like state, when on their backs like that. That’s how some hoomins, hold them in their laps, to clip their nails. From my understanding, it’s not good for them to be that way for a long time. I just want to pick both of them up and cuddle and give them some orange batteries to see them binky around.
Dear sweet precious bunnys must feel completely safe to splay like that. The bellies and feetsies are on thing, it’s the flat on the floor earses that got me.
How long would they sleep like that?
As Luv Bunny said, rabbits don’t “sleep” on their backs like that on their own. They have been “tranced” by a human, and there are many opinions out there about that practice. These are young, so they might snap out of it in a couple minutes? Young rabbits are very posable and are used to sleeping on top or under each other in odd ways, and you can often craddle them in your arms where they’re sorta on their sides. Sometimes when a bun does a “bunny roll” she will roll with enough force to actually roll onto her back for a while before flopping over on her side. My first bunny did that a lot!
so… Zombie bunnies?
Stoned. More like it.
Steiff and Gund just called. They’re ready to compete for modeling contracts.
Oh I’d definitely buy plush versions
