(Just look at those people at the next table. Bunch of tourists, probably, with their cameras and their loud talk and their kids with the smartphones chasing Poke Mans or whatever they call ’em. Getting so I can’t even enjoy my usual watermelon and orchids lunch in peace anymore, grumble grumble…)

That’s me at work when people around me start talking too much. ‘Cept I’m not quite as furry. And I don’t have orchids.
That’s me at a staff meeting when people at my table will not. shut. up. and the principal is giving the evil eye to us and I start sliding as far down the table as possible. (Also sans fur and flowers, tho.)
I never knew there was such an animal until one of my students chose it for her “Unusual Animal” report last year.
The coworker who sits behind me is a talker. And everyone stops to chat. One day I will explode. Though it could be worse. At least she’s behind and facing in the opposite direction. New guy in our department suggested moving her to the empty cube on the other side of me, and I told her supervisor if they did that they’d have to move me to where she is now, because I can’t sit with her 4 feet away from me and facing me, with just a cube wall between us. I love her, but I just can’t.
Wow, and I thought buns threw off a mean look of disapproval. They could take lessons from this guy!
True dat.
Grumpy Cat has competition…
And this one looks like s/he’s been lifting some weights..!
Seems to be doing Yosemite Sam’s “Rassasassafrassinsassafrassin….”
BTW, I can recommend a “red tree kangaroo joey” search because of the adorableness located thereby.
I concur.
Too sweet! I definitely see influences of quokka and bebeh sloth. Love the tail too.
The tail is the reason I picked that particular image. 🙂
Somehow, the tail looks like it doesn’t belong to the cute bebeh, like it’s a furry snake or such?
I know! I had to look twice.
As a long-time Poke Man chaser, I wish I could find one of these guys in the games. Maybe when the new ones come out…
So furry. She uses great conditioner, obviously.
Those are not orchids; they are hibiscus. Which make great tea, wouldn’t you know.
Mr./Ms. Red Tree Kangaroo not only has a beautiful coat, but that pedicure is to die for – such shiny nails!
Oops! Thanks for pointing that out!
I see the deer grazing on neighborhood roses, but when I get a flower in a salad, I find it really hard to eat! Perhaps my coat would be as glossy if I did.
That’s me on the bus going home after work when the person next to me starts having a loud conversation on their cellphone!
Then Gigi gives the cutest side-eye skowl!
I just start singing “Jingle Bells”.
😀 Haaaaa, me too! Mind you, I am not cute.
Quite the chilly introduction to the red tree kangaroo isn’t it? Where do we leave our notorised written apologies.
*snerk*
For a creature that dines on dainty fruits and flowers, s/he sure looks ready to knock somebody’s block off! Still super cute. We’ll definitely need more pix for research purposes.
For someone who looks so cranky, they really love color coordinated menus.
