I’m not afraid of you, with your pokey fingers and your wacky ear flashlight and popsicle sticks without the popsicles on them. You won’t catch me hiding in the sink like some kind of fraidy cat. Bring it on, sawbones!

I’m proud, I am brave, I am Pom wonderful.
Excellent.
Dog POMS are wonderful but the owners of the so-called Wonderful Co. are not. I don’t know how to make this an active link,, but I have to let the Cutetropolis community know what they have done. http://www.sanluisobispo.com/news/local/news-columns-blogs/joetopia/article83221002.html
Good info. I hate their ads and have never bought their products – hopefully I’ll avoid their wine as well.
That Pom(eranian) image came from a John Oliver bit on Last Week Tonight. They sent him a letter in response.
They also featured in an article I read recently about how much water it takes to grow almonds (on Mother Jones, though I can’t find the specific article in my history for some reason). As long as they’re profitable, they don’t seem to have a problem with draining California dry.
Fabulous. I wish we got HBO – I know they’re online but I spend too much time online as it is. If I watched John Oliver online I’d have less time for Cutetropolis! And that would never do.
I don’t have HBO either. I just found that googling in hopes of finding a dog/juice parody of some sort. I usually only watch Last Week Tonight videos if they get posted elsewhere.
Thank Glob for John Oliver. His show is wooonderful! Last week he did an epic takedown of predatory car loan practices.
Highly recommend watching online the time he set up his own church.
Plus he had Rachel Dratch as part of it and i loff her.
I saw the church one (mostly when I see clips from his show it’s on the Friendly Atheist blog).
One of these days I’ll have to go on a youtube binge.
Me, too. I had seen R. Tilton many years ago as “The F*****g Preacher”; some wags had added sound effects to his very odd preaching style. It’s puerile but totally hilarious. The man is such an unctuous slimeball he deserves every bit of satire or criticism flung at him.
My favorite is this Benny Hinn video:
I no comprehend. Mass hysteria? Desire to conform? It can’t be blamed on ergot this time, I shouldn’t think. It’s stunning and depressing that people are so easily led. Explains a lot about these days, I guess.
I am now late for work and snort laffing with tears! Thank you!?
My work here is done.
Used to buy their juice years ago, but got too expensive. Glad I stopped. Thanks for the info. Always good to b informed!
Purdy Puppeh
Purdy is our Cat’s name, short for “Perdita”, Little Lost One – she showed up at our door one fateful day many years ago. We’ve had her for probably 16-17 years and she was just short of a year when she arrived. When I figure out how to do it I’ll send a pic.
Here’s the picture of Purdy that Murray sent. Sorry I’m a bit late putting this up.
Thanks, Mike!
I love her colouring! ❤️❤️
Thanks! She’s a medium tortie, for lack of a better phrase. With little white gloves and long white socks and her white pinny.
Beautiful kitty. ?
What Faye said. She’s both Perdita and Purty.
She is so beautiful!!!!!
Purdy is gorgeous!!!
thank you all for admiring my dear pusswam. (pronounced
“puss- wham” in case you were wondering.?
I am Pom, hear me roar!
Pom cannot be expected to know that the enlarged insect graphic is actually a flea. He is even BRAVER if he thinks it’s a tick! Best vet picture EVER. And thanks to Murray and Gigi for the giggles and the ear-worm!
Dang. You got here first. Kinda glad it is a flea, though. Ticks look even creepier to me.
To me they’re about equal on the Ick Meter…ticks carry Lyme disease, but fleas can JUMP – eek!
That heroic pose – someone’s been reading Jack London and watching Lassie movies!
Yes. Exactly.
