Reminds me of the first earthquake I experienced when I first moved to Cali back in the 90s. I had just gotten off the train and was at my brother’s house talking on the phone with my mom. Suddenly my SIL’s eyes got real big and she pointed at a chandelier that was shaking, mouthing the words earthquake. Didn’t faze me in the least, told my mom hey guess we’re having an earthquake, must be a welcome to Cali for me. It just felt like the movement of the train so I didn’t even feel it.
That bird disappeared like something out of Stranger in a Strange Land. I do not grok!
I do not want my drink shaken or stirred!
