Happy news indeed. I love the mockingbird’s little sandals. And of course great news about pandas, though we can’t get complacent.

I love the Goldie rescue story! Nine days trapped!? That poor pooch. How lucky they all are that he is so safe and sound. I really hope he didn’t suffer any lasting effects of being trapped with no food or water for *nine days*!
I have to admit this is one of my biggest fears. One I do not like to think about. Some horrific event happening to my home – fire, sink hole, earthquake! (I’m from California but now I live in Philly – but there was that major earthquake in DC back in ’11) and what happens to my babies? I have the stickers ( save the 2 Cats in here) and everything – but still. Ugh. After nine days of not knowing!? I’d be over the moon to see my babies.
Please don’t miss-understand me, I’m very much saddened by the loss of human life in the tragedy. But for these survivors there is a little bit of silver lining. And I am so happy for them.

The mockingbird story reminded me of the goose sporting custom-made sandals, the story that introduced me to Cute Overload…
