Lancelot, every side is your good side. What a sweetie!

My thoughts exactly! What a cutie!

Lancelot has the right idea, Sundays were made for lying around and relaxing, which is what I’m going to do today!

I did that yesterday (mostly because I had a headache and didn’t feel like doing anything). Today I need to do some errands and of course it’s raining (I still have a headache but I need to do something…).

But yesterday I found a new podcast, The Curious Caes of Rutherford & Fry from the BBC, so I’ve been working my way through them (there are only about 15 I think and they’re only about 15 minutes each).

Me too. Lots of work knitting to finish, so I’m going to put on a good audiobook and veg out.

      Lancelot and Leonardo are fabulous!

Finished my new drawing. One of my PTSD symptoms is I can’t feel the right side of my face. Lately that has lessened. I feel all of my face for whole days at a time. The drawing shows bandages falling away to reveal a new fresh face underneath. It’s titled Brought To Light.

I’m going to ask Mike to post for me.
    Thanks for listening.

Faye, I love how you can turn horrible life experiences into beautiful art. You’re incredible.

Thank you DebG. I’m very lucky. I have a safe home, good friends and a wonderful Doctor. I finally have time to reflect on my life, read about psychoanalysis and neurology, and illustrate what happened to me and how wonderful getting better is.

It’s taken some hard work on your part, Faye, to reach this level of healing! I hope things just keep getting better for you! (I would love to see your work, should you choose to share it with us!)

I checked out your work, Faye. Wow, heartbreaking but inspiring at the same time. As DebG commented, you are incredible!

Thank you Amyliz. A bit heartbreaking. But everyone (and I) should focus on the fact that I am truly happy here in the present. ?

Looking forward to seeing your newest work tomorrow, Faye. You are an inspiration. Do you think there might be a time that you could do talks for people in similar straits – showing your artwork? What a fabulous thing it could be – but obviously only if it were something you felt good about.

Hi Murray. New work posted now.

I hope the website and blog helps and informs others as I build up posts.

In the back of my mind is a possible book that would include my Doctor’s comments.

You can see my Doctor’s comments on his website Where he has created a page about ME!

Of course, I was forgetting the blog – mostly because I don’t immediately think of the tech thing. Your drawings are, as I said before, truly marvelous – and brave. Obviously you’ve had more to deal with than the average person and your emergence as a full person seems, from this end anyway, to be successful and deeply impressive. I enjoy your communications to all of us here – you are so smart and funny and appreciative of others. I’m a fan!

Today is my mom’s 96th birthday! She’s unfortunately developed rather severe dementia (not Alzheimer’s) in the last year, but she hasn’t forgotten her birthday! Clearly she can remember the important things. ☺

And Leonardo is beautiful! I hope he’s as soft as he looks. Because he looks unbelievably soft!

    • Amyliz October 9, 2016 / 6:25 pm

Happy birthday to your mom, Laura!

    • Murray C. October 9, 2016 / 9:34 pm

Happy Birthday to your Mom and kudos to you for being a good daughter.
