That’s why I’m so drawn to your watermelon bag. I just feel like I really need to be in here. That’s why kicked out all of your stuff and crawled inside.

I have a sudden urge to cuddle a watermelon…
I’m so happy I could cuddle a watermelon.
Kitties like bags almost as much as boxes.
It’s so true.
Michelle H., I feel your pain: cats love project bags. Fortunately, I have trained all my cats to leave my yarn alone, or I’d be out of a job.
I started learning how to sew clothes last year, and since I don’t have a table big enough, I cut my fabric on the floor. My cats love to hang out and observe, but somehow don’t actually interfere. It is a pure miracle, especially when they can ignore the crinkly pattern paper! I don’t know how I got so lucky 🙂
Just watch out for the angry ones…
Oh what a pretty tortie girl!
Cutest seed ever!
I am SO EXCITED to see my little girl on this website. She’s the sweetest cuddliest thing, and was keeping my spirits up while I was home sick.

Your cutey kitty look even cuter lurking in a bag.
She’s definitely a sweetie pie! Congrats on having her posted -it is exciting, isn’t it, to have a fur baby make an appearance on this site?
That cute bag makes me want to try plastic canvas again so I can have my very own kitty holder.
I don’t know if it’s my computer of if she’s a very dark tortie but I see her almost as black. But whatever her colour she looks like a cutie pie!
She’s really hard to photograph, especially when contrasted with her all-white brother.
Here’s a pic of the two of them together:

Your photos are fabulous! What darling cats, with such a great relationship! Lot’s of pink tongue and toe beans – I am smitten.
PS Trust you are feeling better?
A little sniffly, but it’s hard to feel sorry for yourself when you have two fluffy kitties vying for lap space.
It’s almost impossible for me to get a good picture of my tortie, especially on just my phone. That does save me from filling it up with cat pictures, though!
So. Here’s my theory. The kitties are jealous of our projects.
Here’s why I think this. I cannot knit without one or the other come and interfering. Either head-butting or otherwise being interesting in the project (which should be read as stealing-the-yarn-mommy-just-set-aside-to-answer-the-phone). I think this is true because, aside from the knitting, Jacques has an incredible knack for stomping across the laptop and sabotaging the current project at hand.
Thoughts?
This also holds true for any book I am trying to read. Cats hate that they are illiterate, and want to make us join them.
I believe this is why it’s impossible to stay awake with a cat napping on your lap. Cats are strongly against us getting things done. Why did God give us laps if we are just going to keep standing up all the time?
Yes Ma’am. My point exactly. 🙂
What a cutie!! And after learning her name, I now have a strong urge to call your cat “Nefertortie”! 😉
You should change your name to “4LeafClever.”
