Meet Cozmo, the cute robot with a mind of its own

The must-have pet this gift-giving season may be a robot: Cozmo, a Wall-E wannabe with AI and attitude. Reportedly, the $180 robot can recognize faces, learn and navigate about its environment, and initiate playtime when it gets bored. Cozmo’s creators are also sharing a software development kit to allow hobbyists to teach Cozmo to do new things.

Also, say its developers, Cozmo is engineered to be sturdy and hard to break. Which makes it safe for homes with pets, unlike Rock-Em Schlock-Em here:
