As much as I enjoy showing cute kittens in this space, I think it’s important to show how vicious these creatures can sometimes be. Often, older cats will attack the defenseless young, with devastating results. In the spirit of truth and fairness, I invite you to watch this video, but caution: it is not for the faint of heart.

My thanks to Andrew Y. for bringing this to my attention (via RocketNews24)
This is what Stars used to do to Pablo! Except she only did it when his back was to her. Vicious, indeed!
BOOP!! ?
YES!?
Head boop!! I was half expecting the little one to tear apart the bigger one, before the head boop. I think the bigger one just wanted to make sure the little one was alive. 🙂
Ow!! Murder!! Help!! MOM—He HIT me!!!!!
**BOOM** Head Shot !!
Poor kitten never saw it coming
?????
Truly LOL!It reminds me of those black boxes you would turn on and a hand would slowly emerge and turn it off. LOVE the slo-mo.
Its cat Tai-Chi. (Tai-Cat?)
Slowly move the paw up, slowly boop dah kitteh.
Is it real? (poke)
Well, that was absolutely horrifying.
A long time ago, when I got two new kittens and they got too rambunctious and disturb my 12 year old cat, he would slowly back them up into a corner. Then he would slowly raise his paw, let it hover there for a moment, and then he would smack both of them in one swipe. Then he’d turn around and go back to sleep. I miss that cat 🙁
Love that story!
That’s a regular Three Stooges act, there.
“Why I oughta?!”
“Why, I eyes ya! Oh, Don Johnson! Oh, long piano!”
Take that you little interloper!! 🙂
That kitty is gonna grow and then POW!
Faye, I went on one of my favorite groups – Golden Age of Illustration – and that WAS you who joined, am I right?
No not me. Can you show me?
Murray C. I Will be posting new drawing on website tomorrow around 10 am New York time. A tough one that is spurring me to move on in life.
Will be starting to blog in November.
Then use Facebook to get site known.
Joining art sites like deviant art soon.
Thinking of a book in a year.
Found a place that gives adult art lessons for reasonable price 10 min. from my house!
Ps. Would u be interested to have NTMTOM exchange our emails?
I’d be happy to help in any way. Just let me know what you need.
If you could give Faye my email address then she could get in touch with me – thanks, Mike.
Sure, that’d be terrific. I will try to figure out how to invite people onto Golden Age of Illustration – I know it can be done through Facebook, probably through email as well. It’s mostly illustration from the early 1900’s but lots of other stuff shows up. It was started by a man from England and they have about 5,000 members now and they post images from the Internet or their own book collections. It’s not for displaying one’s own work but is terrific for learning about styles and beautiful color work. Very inspirational.
Very good, you’re moving right along. Very exciting. I’ve bookmarked your site, so I’ll have to take a look when I get back from the Y. Yaye, Faye!?
I tried to find the group. Couldn’t figure it out. But hundreds of Golden Age Of Illustration art popped up in Google Images. So much to inspire me.
Ok Murray C. I will also give permission to Mike to give you my email. Yay! Murray!
I think I have to “invite” you – I’ll need to friend you on Facebook which I’ll do when we communicate by email.
I am completely and utterly traumatized by that video! I require medicinal cuddles with the little black kitteh to recover my composure… 🙂
Shall we have a contest to see how many times we re-watch it??? I think my evening may be taken up doing just that.
27…28…29…
Sheesh, you should really post a Trigger Warning before showing such cat-on-cat violence.
Daintiest ‘boop’ ever!
No touchie da kitty (well, just a bit).
Ha!
I noticed that the older cat’s tail is not in extreme floof mode so things can’t be all that tense!! And I think the little kitty is pretty much “wha”?
Oh the horror and the humanity!
