No, not Pablo. A friend posted that on my facebook page for my birthday. Looks a bit like Pablo, though.
He wouldn’t have put up with the hat, either. We found reindeer antlers a little Santa hat one year and they only stayed on as long as I was holding him still. As soon as I let go the head went shaking and headgear went flying. (Actually, the antlers lasted slightly longer than the hat because they had a strap.)

Actually, I forgot that I can put hats on Poncho. And he will sit for photos wearing them. Poncho is really old so he makes for a really good dog model.

Conservation Officer told my fifth-grade students that, and, I know from experience that if one hears a soft noise, like someone sneaking up on it, it will stand up and look around before lumbering off. They aren’t as fast as they should be, especially around cars. In the Smoky Mountains, they just stand by the road and watch the traffic go by!
