Back in January, I shared the story of Yoshi, a cat born with deformed back legs. Today, sender-inner Glenna shares an update: “She has had surgery completed on one leg, and is due to have surgery on the second leg on 11/14. The surgery is very specialized as hers is a pretty rare condition, and the costs have turned out to be quite a bit more than originally anticipated. When all is said and done, the total costs will be around $10,000.”
With just over $6,000 raised so far, Glenna is reaching out to us Cutetropolitans for help in reaching her goal. If you can chip in, visit this page at GoFundMe for details.
Mike,
Thanks for this update.
Poor Glenna looks like she would like that morphine drip back. Glad that the surgery appears to be on track.
The kitty’s name is actually Yoshi – though with the way this week is going, I wouldn’t turn down a morphine drip right now. 🙂
oh Dear – Miss Yoshi does not look like she is happy about this. I do hope the surgery is an improvement and all the best to Yoshi and her Hoomins!
