Consumer Alert!

Owners of pets obtained from Vinnie Magoola’s Purebred Pomeranians may be eligible for a partial refund as part ofย a class-action settlement. The suit alleges that the dogs are not pure bread as advertised but in factย are actual dogs cleverly disguised as bread.

But you can cover us with strawberry jam anyway, that would be nice actually.

    Furry fraud?! That company’s toast!

Bless you, Mike–I desperately need non-election giggles today! Just found out that I’d messed up something at work, and on top of election nerves, it’s just too much: I’m carrying around a comfort panther today.

What’a a comfort panther and where to I get one?

      • DebG November 8, 2016 / 3:04 pm

Mine is a knitted and stuffed toy that will go in the summer issue of my magazine. After the pattern comes out, you can make your own!

Gigi, your comfort panther is beautiful. Wish I were home with kitties today–their purrs settle me like nothing else can.

There’s nothing like a comfort panther purring in your ear.

      • dubravkamcvmd November 8, 2016 / 3:14 pm

Oh I miss my Minkette purring in my ear. She was black but half Russian Blue. The only thing that wasn’t Russian Blue about her was her color. Otherwise she had that shape head, the little ears and small paws and short legs and double thick coat. She’s been gone since September 24th last year.

Dubravkamcvmd, so sorry–it’s heart-breaking to say goodbye to them. She’s still purring in your ear, you know. You just can’t see her now.

Looks so much like my BenHim, gone since 1991. Still think
of him a lot, and miss him. He was a prince.

Oh my god. Comfort Panther! Best description ever.

I am so lucky to have my Comfort Tuxedo Girl.

        Comfort panther? Tru dat!

    • Murray C. November 8, 2016 / 3:19 pm

Oh, so sorry, DEBG – I hope all turns out OK. Bad enough we have to endure the stress of today.

We voted about 11:30 – hardly a soul there but a friend who is a polling person said that out of about 800 people registered to vote in that station, 300 had turned out by then, so that’s pretty good. She was enthusiastic and is situated to know.

      • DebG November 8, 2016 / 3:31 pm

Nobody dies if I make a mistake at work, fortunately. Most of my stress is of my own making!

Vinnie Magoola!!???? Wh….? Ho….? Wha’ th’ *******???? (auto correct insisted on “Mazola” instead of “Magoola” – gyaak, you’ve got to watch them like a hawk!)

I’m stunned by the bread decorating but more than that is the amazement that there are three of the cutest Pom Creatures in one place. Old family saying, “O! those luckies, what are they doing?!

  6. Duckie ? November 8, 2016 / 4:53 pm

A nutritious part of this balanced breakfast.
Hi, peeps, Duckie is upright and processing thoughts. Slowly.
Reeeeeeally tired of the stupid compression bandage I’m forced to wear until Thursday. But ok.

    • Murray C. November 8, 2016 / 8:08 pm

Ya-a-a–a-aY, let’s hear it for Duckie!

    • Faye November 8, 2016 / 8:17 pm

Good for you Duckie. I know you are glad that the actual procedure is over. Wear your compression bandage as a badge of honor.

    • Dulcie November 8, 2016 / 8:46 pm

      Way to go Duckie…?
How’s the hubby doing with his part of this ordeal (all the pampering)? Scale of 1 to 10!

  7. Patty November 8, 2016 / 5:51 pm

This is a sad/cute post. Sad because it reminds me of my pom, Thunderpants, who passed away in May, and who I still miss terribly. Cute, because Pomeranians! Pure bread Pomeranians!

    • Faye November 8, 2016 / 8:19 pm

Hi Patty. It is so hard to lose our lovies. I look longingly at Poms. Sigh.

  8. Julie November 8, 2016 / 6:17 pm

Pure Bread Pomeranians!!! Ha ha ha!!!

  9. Kar November 8, 2016 / 11:41 pm
