For Give to the Max day, our local Animal Human Society (https://www.animalhumanesociety.org/) offered prints created by some of the cats and dogs waiting for adoption, to donors who gave at a specific dollar level.
At some point you see the doggy smelling the air, I bet he’s thinking : what I smell better be my reward and it better be big and tasty!
Older pooch is very patient, but his body language says,
“I realize this people pup is a valued member of the pack,
but . . .puleeeeze make him stop!”
Oh, what a sweet, gentle patient doggie. Just gotta love the the big boy/girl.
Reminds me of when I was a kid and I’d paint the dog’s toenails or put baby clothes on her, and my mom would always say, “Ooooh! I wish that dog would bite you!”

Folks – we have a sad/scary situation in Toronto presently and we need your prayers for 16 stolen doggehs. A dogwalker had his van stolen when he stopped at a building to pick up another dog. The van and its 16 dogs has been missing for hours now. The various owners of the missing puppers are, of course, beside themselves with worry. Let’s all send some good vibes out into the universe for their safe return.
Godspeed on your request Birdcage, I saw this earlier and it is so messed. Did you read about the Shih tzu who was taken away by knifepoint up in Markham? This sounds like a different situation person, group of people but I am afraid for the same reasons… breeding. It is so heartbreaking– it is the pet equivalent of stealing a busload of children. 🙁

The kind of paint this kid is using would be very easy to clean up – tho’ it could encourage her to be careless in future when her paints may be less clean-uppable. Good habits start young!?
I like that the videographer, in the middle, says, “Be gentle with him.”
Good instruction for the young one. And then you can see the young one gentle their hold on the paint brush. ?
