Reader Faye shares more pictures of her “surprise” puppy:
“This pic of Millie and her first toy. Toy was a backup toy for Bucky the Labrador. Made it work due to Millie’s unexpected arrival. ‘Make it work!’ as they say.”
Fortunately, Millie has plenty of toys her own size she can practice on until she’s ready for The Big One.
Eeee-e-e-ek! Gag me with a stick! I just love this little girl – she is cute as cute can be. I know ALL of Cutetropolis is happy for you, Faye!
She’s even smilink in her sleep! Squee!
Barks, woofs, and runs in her sleep too.
My Rat Terror does the same thing. It’s sweet up to the point where she’s in bed with me and starts sleep running and is kicking me in the kidneys.
It’s still worth it though!
Dog in the bed is my secret pleasure. Oops. Now everyone knows!
We won’t tell.
Thank you Murray!
The fur inside her ears is so soft I can cancel my bunny quest for a good long while.
She is too cute, Faye! I haz a jealous.
She already thinks she’s a big dog! Barking at the cat who outweighs her by 11 pounds.
Haha!
Pablo ignored our cats, except for when they tried to steal his food.
As Tim Gunn would say, “She’s having a make it work moment and make sure to use the JustFab accessories wall very thoughtfully!”
Don’t forget about the Brother Sewing Room! ?
Oh how I love Project Runway!
I bought Millie all the accessories already. There’s no such thing as a free puppy!
“Say thank you Mood!” I have watched every iteration of Project Runway from day one!
Me, too!
I think I’ve even seen all the “All Stars” versions.
I watch it all even when they do the children. I’m fascinated by all the contestants and how each is so unique. And then all the colors and textures of the fabrics. And of course the hair, makeup and accessories.
My second rabbit, Edward, was purchased from a small pet store around the corner from where we live. We would pass the store every few days and watch as first his mother, then his sister were sold and there he was, a little downcast bun and I couldn’t take it any more. (the woman who owned the pet store wasn’t selling rabbits, just doing a favor for a friend who bred rabbits but was getting out of the business – thank heaven) So there was Edward – we gave him the name before we even considered buying him. But there he was, in the window of the shop, $19.99+ tax. But by the time we got him home we had spent a considerable amount more, I can tell you. Cage and bowl, and water bottle and food and hay – you all know the drill, I’m sure!
Faye – You are sooooo lucky!! I wish I had taken more pictures of Chico when he was still a wee one with the floppy ears. He was my first dog, so I had no idea how quickly he would grow and change. She is totes adorbs!
I know. They grow up too fast!
Congrats, Faye! It must be a squee-a-day with this little charmer around. Give her a cuddle for me!
Done! She’s sleeping against me right now.
Faye, she looks so very happy. I’m thrilled for both of you.
I am besotted. Thank you.
Millie is so cute it hurts!!
Yes. Her teeth are sharp!
Thank you Mike! Thank you everyone.
Yes, Millie is adorable. Yes, it’s a squee a minute. Yes, I am more than lucky.
She looks so innocent until she turns into a land shark with needle like puppy teeth. She creates havoc for 20 minutes then conks out and sleeps for at least an hour right against my hip.
All worth it, of course. Small kissable belly. And she sleeps in the bed with me straight through from 10pm to 7am. Delicious.
I’m exhausted by our bedtime!
Puppy Belly!!!! Oh I can just picture it.
You know – we have ‘Tocktober and Nosevember – anybody clever enough to come up with a belly month? ‘Cause – yeah, I could do with pics of cute bellies.
Faye, she looks so sweet and so loved. She would probably make a wonderful therapy dog. Congrats!
Belly pictures you say? Emailing Mike right now!
“May” I kiss your oh, so tempting belly? “June-no” what? I’d love to kiss that belly.
“July” there long enough I’m going to kiss that belly. On this “August” occasion, I believe I shall plant some serious osculation upon this – um – belly.
July-Belly (like Jelly Belly jelly beans)?
I like it!
I’m in love! So cute.
Thank you Birdcage!
So adorable. ??
Thank you!
Squee!!! Clunk! I’z ded from the qte. Absolutely love these pics of Millie, I’m so happy we here at Cutetropolis will be able to enjoy her growing up through pictures.
I have millions of pictures already. Thank you AJ.
Aw! I missed the original post when my internets were broken. She is adorable!
Thank you Patty.
Be still, my heart! That little smile is the most wonderful thing. So happy for you, Faye! Make sure Millie gets plenty of belly rubs!
Her tiny belly is the center of the Universe. She offers it up regularly. Thank you!
What’s the Yiddish? word for belly button? Pupic? spelling? I love the idea that a puppy’s navel is the center of the universe. Now that’s my kind of universe!
Puppick. (Poo pick) haven’t thought about that one in years.
She is just insanely cute, Faye! I’m besotted just from the pictures! And keep those pictures coming — between Millie and Lily, we can watch them grow up with you!
Will do Laura! Tell your husband I am considering having Millie be a therapy dog. I used to bring Sammigirl to the nursing home to visit my Mother. She cheered up other residents and the staff too. I’m thinking kids in hospital.
Having a therapy dog is as good for the human escorting the pup as it is for the people the pup visits! My husband is never happier than when he’s out with Melody, taking her around to see all her friends. he’s got a regular weekly calendar set up now — one morning at the state veterans home, one morning at a local school, two visits a week at the VA hospital, and other nursing homes and schools, and doing the official escort tour for new volunteers at the VA hospital, too, regularly! In fact, when Millie is a bit older, you might check out their therapy group — Paws for Friendship. It’s located in 26 states, I believe; we’re just lucky enough to have the founder here local. It’s a truly wonderful experience for everyone involved, no question!
So adorbs! Lucky!
Brouhaha I am sooo blessed. Thank you!
My personal Favorite …. Then again .. I’m basis to this type of pup
Love them! A bit too much for me. Millie’s harness would fit a large rat.
Oh my Faye, she is a little sweet heart! Please kindly give her a robust raspberry on her belly for me. 🙂
Ah no problem there! Doing it as often as she lets me. Next one is for you FKA
Oh what a cutie and she sounds like a little character!
Indeed Amyliz. Bit my nipple today! Yup, keeps me on my toes and wearing a bra!
Gaaaaaaaaah! *thunk* ded.
I would love to kiss that little morsel.
Thank you Ricky’s Mom. Warm and soft all over!
She appears to know that she’s found her perfect adoring hoomin.
Look at her contented, nay, smug little smile! You are mutually blessed.
Smug. She caught a live one.
So happy for you, Faye! She is too cute! ? Feel free to nuzzle and kiss her ears for me!
