Can I just get a loop of squeaky purry kitties to listen to all day?

Did you see the one under the marble cat story about Abigail the Pitty and her hat collection?

      • tara December 16, 2016 / 9:28 am

Scrappy is gorgeous! Stunning. I especially like his very black nose and lips. However, he does not look thrilled about that plaid bow-tie. And why would he? It’s too much pattern and clashes with the marbling. Daddy should have chosen a solid color. πŸ˜‰
I missed the story about Abigail the Pitty so I’ll have to go through those cute pictures again. Such a chore.

Abigail The Pitty and her hats! Wonderful story. Maybe someone can post link.

Love the hats and so sorry she had a rough start to life. Did anyone else notice that Abigail had some painted toenails in a few pics. Such a stylish furbaby!

Thank you for the warning. My fave headpieces are the first one (interlocking pink/red wrap) and the marvelous ‘Rosie the Riveter’ polka-dot wrap – paired with a Wonder Woman top, no less!

            • allein ? December 16, 2016 / 12:14 pm

Yes! I love that the wrap lets her other ear fly free. πŸ™‚

Yup this is a good one! Thanks for pointing it out Allein! Love all the hats, the toe nail polish, and the wonder woman costume… What a special dog Miss Abigail is.

The tiny puppy and the veteran?

    • Smartypants December 16, 2016 / 12:03 pm

I love how tenderly he takes off the bow…and watch the puppy’s tail going non-stop!

Animals do wonders for my PTSD. I hope these two go on to have the best life ever together.

Almost – 40 degrees omg. How nice they saved the kitty.
I would like to hug this beautiful marble cat and if I catch some skin condition that makes me beautiful in the meantime – so be it.

      Did you know that -40 is where Celsius and Fahrenheit meet? – 40 C = – 40 F

      • Emsthemonster December 16, 2016 / 12:46 pm

This is interesting, I didn’t know that. The coldest weather I have ever experienced was -32 Celsius, it was in February 2003.

  6. Duckie ? December 16, 2016 / 12:55 pm

Is that mommy or baby purring right at the end?!

  7. Emsthemonster December 16, 2016 / 1:15 pm

When do kittens start purring? Can such a tiny one already purr?

    • Emsthemonster December 16, 2016 / 1:38 pm

Nvm me, Iam just talking to myself πŸ™‚ I have just read even a 2 day-old kitten can purr.

      • Faye December 16, 2016 / 1:49 pm

They purr like locomotives firing up. They purr so hard eating first milk or soft food in a bowl that they vibrate. One of the milestones in tiny kitty keeping: watching vibrating Kitties with tails straight out while they eat! Oh and seeing their tummies fill up. They get golfball tummies.

        • Emsthemonster December 16, 2016 / 2:04 pm

How sweet πŸ™‚ I got the current kitties when they were 6 weeks old, so I missed these wonderful first days.
Even bringing them home was funny. The white one was shaking the bars of the cat carrier with the front paws with all the anger and seriousness of a 0.3 kg kitten and he also kept yelling in Felinese: heeeelp, this woman kitnapped us!

          • allein ? December 16, 2016 / 2:07 pm

Aww! You made me think of 7-week-old Stars meeting Pablo for the first time. She went under the corner of the bed, arched her tiny back as high as it would go, fluffed out her fur, and hissed with all the ferociousness she could muster.

            …Pablo was not impressed.

            • Emsthemonster December 16, 2016 / 2:21 pm

              haha how cute πŸ™‚

    • Juno December 16, 2016 / 2:21 pm

When they first start purring (at least the kittens I’ve heard), their purr sounds like a rapid tick-tick-tick-tick.
