Happy friendly fishy? Or just reeeally lonely fishy?

Where are his/her fishy buddies? Staying well away from Mr. Grabbyhands? Or is fishy all alone?

Not sure if fun, or a tiny bit sad. Can it be both? ?

    So many questions…

I, too, have so many questions about this! I hate to anthropomorphize, but it does look like the fish _likes_ this! When she’s out of the water is it like us holding our breath before we dive underwater? What kind of fish is this? Is it known for interacting with humans? ?

Looked it up, seems to be a Midas Cichlid (Amphilophus citrinellus)… whether they’re friendly as a species is open for debate, I saw nothing that mentioned friendliness, but then again, I didn’t look too hard. 😉

Unrelated: how do I italicize things on here? Seeing the scientific name without it hurts my brain…

To italicize, put words between these codes: <i>Amphilophus citrinellus</i>. The first code turns italics on, and the second code (with the slash) turns italics off.

        Thank you, Mike!! <3

LOL, I tried [] and {}… couldn't remember what it was we used in the old days of, in my case, LiveJournal…
