Links: Keep Them All in The Mall

And finally: The Happiest Dog in the World

And now a moment of pure joy, sent in by reader Faye: An amazing athletic pup who’s either giving his jaws a workout or trying to fetch an entire tree.

Well I don’t have to rinse out my eyes this morning! The homeless dogs in the mall and Casper the rescued Husky puppy cleaned them right out!

      That is one determined doggie.

Love that mall dog story! They look so sweet all tucked in for the night, with little piles of kibble to munch on if they need a snack. So glad that Fern the Toucan is home again. I live in fear of Merlin escaping from my house. I feel like Merlin enjoys his life with me – the food, shelter, squeeky toys and companionship all seem to appeal to him – but it’s almost fascinating to behold the instinct that takes over a bird when they get a glimpse of a big clean picture window that seems open to the outside world, or a door that is ajar. That inate need to fly into the great beyond just takes over; security and familiarity be damned!

Was I the only one thinking “pole dancer”? Probably.

Call me pedestrian, call me uncouth I don’t care, I’m sorry but I do not consider a loop video of someone slowly and continuously knitting instant noodles as being art.
A demonstration of dexterity? Definitely! But art? Not in my book.

It kinda just made me want some soup.

Since I work for a craft magazine publisher, I had to share that one around. We were pretty impressed.

Whew! Doggie on the tree has me exhausted! What a grip. And I LOVE the Fruit Loops comment, Mike.

Swingy doggie wouldn’t happen to be named Tarzan, would he?
