You will never see it coming. Through the tall grass it slithers unseen, unnoticed, silent. But it has seen you, its sensitive tongue flicking your scent from the air, its beady eyes tracking your every move. You feel only a slight sting at first. Then another. Then one after the other, and soon you fallΒ helpless under a barrage of vitamin-fortified oat projectiles. Only then do you see the face of the fiend who beat you: the dreaded Cereal Killer!
That was the worst pun in this site’s hisstory, John B.
i wasn’t expecting that!
Also a pun from a beloved detective show. Great work, Mike!
I wanna know what kitty in the background is up to…accomplice or a member of the BAU (Breakfast Analysis Unit) on a mission to take out the unsub?
What an adorable and talented danger noodle! And what an unusually non-interfering cat.
Ha ha ha ha ha, Danger Noodle!
I love Danger Noodle too; wasn’t that from the same site where Hamster Dog came from? I think there were some other great ones as well. π
Yes. Don’t get me started. I have work to do.
Who remembers “Nick Danger, Third Eye”?
Funniest thing the Firesign Theatre ever did, in my opinion.
Agreed. I happened to hear it for the first time lying on the living room floor of a friend’s house in Marin County in an “altered state” y’ might say, with 5 kittens crawling all over me. Bliss.
You know, it makes so much sense that Mike and some of the other people here would be Firesign Theater fans. My dad has a few of those albums. We listened to them once; I didn’t quite get the humor, and dad said the “altered state” bit made a real difference.
Interestingly, I didn’t appreciate Firesign until about a few years ago. I knew about them in the 70’s because some friends played one of their records for me, but I guess I didn’t quite catch on.
While there is some truth in what you say, one needn’t be high to listen to the FT – I only had that one experience – it helps to have some sense of the world of radio when one had to imagine everything. The zaniness was certainly fueled by a certain amount of substances!?
Too cute to STRIKE any fear into anyone.
See the cat in the background I would put an impending doom tag on that post!
Yes, he’s an IN-Danger Noodle! π
So that’s what a rattlesnake’s rattle is really made of!
Are those cheerios glued together? Hmm? Some peanut butter, perhaps?
I figured the snake is wearing a little cap with a long stick. And I think those are tiny bagels. You remember the song, “Tiny Bagels”.
Sure!
“Tiny bagels
Served with lox
Make me happy
Like Maru in a box”

Brava! Bravissima!
I. Am. Ded. Now.
?
Excellent!
I just love how people here just run with stuff – good goin’,Juno. I knew there was something there but couldn’t come up with it.
Glad you liked it–but I had “Tiny Bubbles” stuck in my head the rest of the day! π
Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhhhh!
Hee hee hee hee! π π π
They do look glued, and glued to his head?

I sure wouldn’t trust that snake anywhere near the cat!! WHAT??? Next meal waiting in the background. WOW!!
Cat obviously doesn’t know about the snake who tried to eat an entire crocodile.
