Sure, Maru and Hana can play rough sometimes, and chase each other around Mugumogu’s impossibly perfect apartment, but they still make quality time for love and affection. So let’s get a head start on Valentine’s Day with this tender moment sent by Andrew Y. and Lois M.
Bonus: More Maru in the snow, via Murray C.
By the way, Andrew Y. sent in an article titled Japan’s top 10 cat names for 2017 and two of the top cat names are “Maru,” which means “circle,” and “Hana,” which means “flower.”
Love this video!
I also noticed on the list that ‘Tama’ (as in the late ‘Super Station Master Tama’) means ‘ball’ – although they listed it as a male name and SSMT was female so I guess it can be unisex.
(adding)…Oh, I didn’t see the bonus video! That coat is looking awfully snug, Maru 😀
Such a caring big bro <3
Did Maru eat the snowman’s eye?
Yup, he always does XD
The eyes are made of dry food

Thanks so much for the links! The translations made me giggle.
“Hey, rude cats! Do not turn buttocks to the King!” ?
Next video: Maru with tiny snowshoes. He does NOT like it when his feet sink in.
