Ladder of Success

They say that life comes down to just a handful of moments, forks in the road where greatness zigs when others zag. I was one of the zaggers, just another sucker doing the same boring job day after day — tip the trash can, take the stuff, tip the trash can, take the stuff. But all the while, I knew there had to be more. And that’s when I saw it, so plain and obvious I wondered how I’d missed it all this time. When you want to climb up to a better life you need a ladder, and now I had mine. This morning, I was a peasant, but tonight… Tonight I dine like a king.

Comfort and privilege, here I come!

I can totally see him writing a bestseller in a few years, his very own racoons to riches story. (Daydreaming about a quiet life in the woods he could now afford) 🙂
