Scientists have recently discovered a new element called ferretium. Shown in this model, the highly unstable element consists of a single electron chasing after a positively charged moron.
Nice find, Faye.

Yay!
Oh you found my presentation on: Closed loop perpetual motion energy creation for Starship propulsion.
Looks like Ferrettium beats those unreliable Dilithium Crystals!
“dilithium crystals” heh heh heh…. 🙂
Sort of reminds me of a transparent digestive system – sorry about the way my mind works.
poop!
I was thinking it looks the intestines of a horse with colic.
I, too, thought of intestines! ?
??????
Ow!
If I didn’t love this site and its occupants so much, I would bitterly complain about laughing so hard at the video and comments that I coughed half a banana muffin out my nose!
? ?? ? ?
Yummy!
Duckie, I hope this signals some relief from your current woes, banana snotwithstanding.?
Ouch Murray! That pun was as painful as the banana muffin incident itself LOL!!
Circumstances haven’t changed much, but we have reached the point where we can start looking at other possibilities.
Sunshine helps, and so does Cutetropolis.
I’m glad you’re here among us and finding it a boon. Do you remember Tom Swifties? One that I remember is “This will be a boon to all mankind, said Tom, patly”.
Don’t give up. ?
Add this to the kitten video and you have my work life over the last few months. If I didn’t need the paycheck…
It would take M C Escher to do artistic justice to this incident.
I tip my artistic hat. Excellent reference.
Mike,
Just noticed the right/left arrows. (I know. Where have I been?) Great addition to the navigation of my very favorite web site. Thanks.
You’re welcome. They only appear when the display area is a certain width or wider, so if you’ve recently changed devices or browsing habits, that may explain why you hadn’t seen them before.
Changed from 125% to 110% to work on a puzzle. That explains it. Thanks.
We interrupt this thread to bring you Fiona, MID-EAR WIGGLE!
Oh god. Klunk.
I am totally hearing hummingbird noises as she lifts off and flies around the enclosure…Blorp Force One!
Well said!
She looks like she’s trying to take off! ?
My heart just melted.
Again.
I never imagined hippos could be so adorable. I guess baby mammals are all cute, but still. I’m genuinely curious whether it’s Fiona or whether baby hippos are generally adorable. And what effect has the TLC had on her personality. I guess it would be hard to figure out whether she is becoming “entitled” (I’m joking).
