Too funny. Sometimes it seems like big dogs think they’re still small enough to fit on a lap while little dogs think they’re bigger and want to take on all comers. Kinda reminds me of my Amber – anytime there was a thunder storm she’d crawl on your lap to hide – whether you wanted her there or not. World’s biggest lap dog at 75 lbs.

My parents’ golden retriever always insisted he was a lap dog, weighing in at 100+ pounds. I never could say “no” to that big goofball.

Millie is all of 12 pounds. She barks and growls when the doorbell rings just like our 50 pound lab mix. It makes me laugh but no one is getting in our house or in my bedroom without me knowing.

My sister’s Yorkie, Tziki, tips the scales at a whopping 5 pounds. But she’ll bark and growl at ANY dog who dares cross her path. Even those with mouths bigger than her!

Yorkies are awesome.

There was never any question about who the boss was when my 4 pound chihuahua was in the room. She didn’t bark or growl but somehow, other dogs always got the message and never seemed to question her authority. Dogs are so weird! 🙂

I used to work with a girl who had two boxers and a chihuahua. I’ll let you guess who was in charge.
