Get ready for a thrilling race as Didga and Boomer sprint to the finish line. Who will win? (Probably the one with the head start, but you never know.)
Who do you like in the fourth race, Cheryl S.?

Well that doesn’t seem quite fair…
Hahaha, Boomer was on the inside track, which is why he was set to start a little behind… I think… Still, kudos to this hoomin who has his cats so well trained and thoroughly stimulated and entertained.
OK that is just plain wonderful!
Gorgeous kittehs!
Wow, here’s an instance of the heat wave we’re having – not even 9 AM and I just had to check on a wild bunny lying flat as a pancake in my neighbor’s driveway (he’s fine – when I approached, he got up, hopped away and started picking grass).
Heat wave? Yesterday was the coldest 12th June in England since records began!
Oh dear – it can get raw over there. I visited a bunch of times as a kid with my family.
Here in Massachusetts it’s 90+ F (about 35 C?) and humid, but we’re expecting a thunderstorm tonight and nice tomorrow – until then, thank goodness for air conditioning!
Here in the Philly area it’s still in the high 80’s at 10PM – it went up to 96 today – this is ridiculous for June, more like July!
In northern Indiana it’s been in the 90s for 3days! VERY humid. Rained today so it should be in the 80s and less humid tomorrow. This is more like August weather. Feel sorry for anything with fur!
Things with fur don’t sweat so the fur is insulating rather than the burden it would be for us. Bunnies suffer in the heat but they can’t pant – they need to be close to 70 degrees or under to be really comfy (thinking underground warrens) – but you know that you’re a bunny Mom!`
I guess their fur just makes ME hot! But when it gets in the 90s and is stifflingly humid, I have squirrels who lay out flat-pelvis on my rocks that are in the shade all day!
My mini-lop, who is shedding like his fur is worth money, lays down completely covering the a/c vent! He has one in his room, but he likes the one in the living room best, of course.? I have a plastic air flow director that is magneted to the vent, and he rips it off and tosses it aside so he can lay there. I will try and get a picture.?
My ad for this post was for “free survival food sample”. I guess the text made the ad engine associate with Hunger Games?? ?
I have an ad for dental services. I think my ads are a little behind.
I got an ad for a backhoe/tractor thingy.
This video reminded me of Hot Wheels layouts from my childhood, only with cats.
Yes! The orange track with the loop? I loved my Hot Wheels & Matchbox cars – now I buy them each year for ‘Toys for Tots’ and they’re still just as great as when I was a kid.
Is this Didga the skateboarding cat? Kudos to the hoomin for training them on the obstacle course.
Is this the next Americat Ninja Warrior franchise?
Nope .. This is the next Wacky Races !!
(Waits for the young folks to go “Huh?” and us older/wiser folks to go “Ah .. Those guys”)
And for the really old folks to go “Huh?”
Come now Murray .. You remember the old gang .. (1968ish)
Penelope Pitstop!!
Nope, haven’t a clue. I was in college then – I loved Rocky and Bullwinkle and George of the Jungle – but these ring no bell at all.
Love. Penelope. Pitstop.
I remember Penelope Pitstop, but totally forgot it was called “Wacky Races”. Muttley is familiar, too, but the rest is hazy.
I think his racing partner was “Dastardly,” a human with a pencil mustache…?
Muttley was my favorite in the Wacky Races
