I don’t think Glenn Gould ever licked the piano keys while playing.

Loved the Dog Waltz and the UPS cuddler–what a sweet man. These are feel-good stories indeed!

Isn’t the UPS man to die for? WHAT a sweetie. And all those teensy puppies – talk about Puppy Breath Overload! And what people who rescue dogs do – how they can see the potential in some of those dogs that were so emaciated or deformed – bless ’em all.

I saw the post about the 8 lucky dogs yesterday but I didn’t send it in, I didn’t think Mike would post it because some of the images would upset some people.
Yes, those warnings are helpful because some days I can deal with it and some days I know not to.

I’ll just be glad that the goggies all got happy endings, without knowing the details. Sad/abused critters break my heart even without pictures.

Our yellow lab Isaac, who passed away shortly before we moved to Florida, absolutely LOVED our FedEx man. Dan the FedEx Man used to spend five minutes skritching and petting and loving on him, and feeding him treats, and generally adoring him; he did that with other dogs on his route, but he was extra-partial to Isaac, being a yellow lab like Dan’s last dog. As Isaac got old and blind, one day a UPS truck pulled up and Isaac ran out to it joyfully, thinking it was Dan — scaring the poor UPS man half out of his skin! It was so sad the day we had to tell Dan that Isaac was gone! He loved him just as much as we did. I’ll always remember how happy those two were together. ::sniffle::

I had my reservations too, but I decided that adding a cautionary note would let people choose whether or not to click through.

OMG, that’s so sweet – a dog can never have too many friends.
Oh, now you’ve made me cry – good doggie Isaac.
I need a doggo. That is all.
