Enjoy nearly four minutes of animals eating — with captions!
YouTuber Agavem attached a camera to food in order to capture this video of animals eating. A clever enough idea, but this video goes the extra mile with helpful closed captions, including “cucumber squeaking” and “banana masticating.” (Click the “CC” icon in the video to see them.)

Am I the only one who wanted to reach into the screen to get the little feather out of the white duck nostril?
Nope. That feather drove me nuts.
Oh the wet noses! The beaks! The flappy lips and long teeth! The munching sounds! Adorable. I love the spotted goose that mumble-talks while eating.
Yes, those are the things that I really appreciated – that duck reminded me of the comic who sounds like he’s complaining about everything – wish I could tell you more than that – but the wet noses – oh, heck, it’s all pretty adorable. Trying to imagine if it were people being fed. Hmmmmm, perhaps less than adorable.
Yeah people showing both upper and lower sets of teeth before chomping on something just isn’t that adorable! Go figure!
That llama was eating the carrot so quietly, I was amazed. I didn’t know *anything* could eat raw carrot quietly!
I got the feeling the llama wasn’t eating so much as licking – I didn’t see the carrot get any shorter.
Carrot canoodling!
And the poor horse with the nose too big to fit through the fence to get the carrot….so expressive!
Celery Competing should be an olympic sport. The 2 deer somehow reminded me of the moose from “Brother Bear” (“Save some, eh?”). The goofy on that horse was redonkulous. And Gigi, that nostril feather was driving me nuts, too.
😀 The toothy horse’s enjoyment was so obvious, as was the pleasure of the squawking duck. The huge wet nose of the horse is a plus.
Thanks for the smiles!! I needed some this morning.
