Also, you’re out of apples, marshmallows, linguine, sardines, bread sticks, ramen noodles, coffee filters, masking tape…

I read linguine as ‘lingerie’. Very disturbing image.
I did the same, and as someone whose had dogs that occasionally pooped out socks and mom’s granny panties, I took it at face value.
Hello! All’s well here in Cutetropolis HQ. In fact, it’s a lovely day. I have a friend in Atlanta GA, and that area got hammered after Irma passed through here. But she’s OK too. To all Cutetropolitans who are making repairs, cleaning up debris, or returning to homes, good luck.
Do you have your power yet?
Yeah, power came back late yesterday. Most traffic lights came back on, but there were a few still out, and not everyone knew that you’re supposed to treat such intersections as a four-way stop.
Good re power, yikes re rules of traffic…
Great news
Great to hear!
Glad to hear you are okay.
4 way stops are something a lot of people don’t seem to understand. We have several 4 way stops in town, and many times I have sat waiting for the other person to go when it was their turn.
Ugh. There aren’t a ton of them around here; people get confused and I don’t trust ’em. There’s one intersection near me where the one road meets the other road at a curve (so essentially a T-stop if the top of the T was more like a shallow V. Just recently they changed it from just a stop on the straight road (the bottom of the T) to an all-way stop…but they didn’t put the little “all way” signs on the Stop signs. I just encountered it for the first time a couple weeks ago; I was on the road that’s always had a stop sign, and had no idea why the guy on the other road was stopping until I noticed the new stop signs.
Excellent news, Mike, very happy to hear it.
I do love raccoon faces. And, Duckie, you are so right, “lingerie” is a very disturbing in this context – I picture him with a strap dangling from his mouth – having already ingested the rest of whatever it might have been.
One of my kitties loves stealing lingerie from the laundry basket. He doesn’t want to eat them, just tries the bras on – on his pretty head 🙂 so we sometimes have a fierce warrior tabby with a lacy helmet 🙂
I had to look up what linguine means and now I am so disappointed, I would have guessed a linguist penguin.
That’s WONderful!
pix please! I love the mental image.
Glad to hear all is well!
Yay for the return of power to Cutetropolis HQ!
I hope Shorty has also found the way home.
Shorty was fine the whole time. He’s friendly with the neighbor next door too, and stayed there most of the storm.
So glad all is well with you! How did Ani handle all the literal sturm und drang?
In my area, Irma really amounted to nothing more than a really long rainstorm, and Ani wanted to stay on the porch all day and watch the rain come down.
Glad everyone is safe so far.
What kind of cereal would you like? I will go to Sam’s Club and get the big boxes.
Better add ‘pencil’ to your list…
Will this little guy go to the store with me to remind me of what I need to buy? That would be much more fun than a shopping list?
Yay Mike! So glad to hear all is well with you! 🙂
NTMTOM, so glad to hear you weathered the storm well. Sounds like Ani enjoyed hearing and smelling the rain. She seemed to know she was safe and dry, what more could bunneh want, at that period of time.
As for that raccoon’s face, innocent until proven guilty or is that the look of guilt? Appears to be caught, in the act.
