Last month, we linked to an announcement of Japan’s first cat train. In this follow-up video sent by Paul P., the train carries its cuddly cargo on its maiden journey to raise awareness of the problems of stray cats in Japan. Full article at Metro.

My guess is that the passengers enter the train through a car with no cats in it, and then proceed into the cat car, where the door would be closely monitored.

Lordy, if there were a cat train in my town, my commute to and from work would all of sudden take me 4 hours each way. “Sorry I was late for that meeting, the train didn’t come on time…I swear!”
