Meet Triton, a lion who not only handles a soccer ball like a pro, but also rocks a beautiful head of hair. (Seriously, he must use a product.)

Big or small, cats be cats.
(I wonder how many balls they go through in a year.)
“cats be cats” That is literally true! An interesting (but not surprising) fact I read years ago is that *all* species of cats play. Big cats, domestic cats, whatever–they all play. Other animals play, too, of course, and even more play only when they’re babies. But I think, if I remember correctly, this article was saying that cats are the only large group of animals in which all species play.
I didn’t think he would go after the ball in the water. I know tigers love the water but I thought lions didn’t like to get wet.
I had the same thought, Gigi!
And Triton DEFINITELY uses product. What a gorgeous mane.
I heard Detroit loves to hire ‘Lions’
golf clap
I know it’s the ‘wrong’ ball, but still .. hehe
Any time I see a lion being all active, I’m always awed by the incredible amount of muscle, and how fast it can get moving. We’re talking about an animal that can literally cuddle you to death.
Also, this fella deserves to have his image on a soccer jersey, 80s hair and all.
That mane would make Fabio swoon. Incredible, kind of needs a hair product endorsement.
Does this count ?
The person creating what she was saying sort of used the wrong term. It read ‘Tony’ in her description. It should have been ‘tawny’ as he is a white lion and doesn’t carry the ‘tawny’ gene. Otherwise he is fantastic and absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention his soccer skills!! Just like a big house kitty!! Let’s hope he stays safe as someone could see this and try and claim him as a trophy for their den like what’s happened to so many other magnificent male lions in the recent past.
I wonder what the international soccer federation rules say about carrying the ball in your mouth??
If you’re a lion I’m guessing they don’t say much…
😀
