“Hah! You think we need your stupid awareness day? Don’t make me laugh! Listen, pal, we can make you aware of us whenever we want. All we gotta do is cross your path, and your day will be full of non-stop black cat memories. Just sayin’.”
Via Imgur. Update: It’s an appreciation day, not an awareness day, so I’ve updated the title. Thanks to the reader who pointed out my absent-minded error.
Love the teeny tongue…so prim and proper.
Goofus and Gallant 😀
Love them! I had no idea today was Black Cat Awareness Day – I will have to be extra aware of my buddy Boris when I get home tonight.
Black cats are awesome every day. I don’t personally own any black cats, but my daughters do. One daughter has a brother and sister, Tubby and Girl, they love their Meemaw (me!) and come running to see me whenever I go over there. The youngest daughter has a black cat, Cosmo, who also begs Meemaw for attention, while her other cats go hide under the bed. My second oldest daughter had a black cat, Bruno, until a couple weeks ago. I think I mentioned his surgery for a mass in his intestine. He unfortunately died 2 days after surgery, the mass was cancerous. He was 14.
I’ve been missing for a while, having internet issues, needing a cable replaced, but needing trees trimmed so the repair guys can get to the pole. Then I had to choose between paying the cable bill and insulin, and the insulin won. I got the bill paid yesterday and the trees were trimmed, so the repair guys will be here today.
Welcome back Patty!
Yes, welcome back! Sorry for your troubles.
Welcome back and hope things are looking up for you. We’ve sure missed you.
Great to see you, Patty – sounds like you’ve had your hands full!
Shouldn’t it be black cat APPRECIATION day? I’m owned by two house panthers, and it’s AWESOME!??
Did I get it wrong? Egad, I did! I’ll fix that right now!
