Breaking News Bulletin!

We interrupt our regular cute programming with this bulletin: A hostage situation is unfolding right now at the Cutetropolis Arms apartments. All we know at this time is that someone known only as “Charlie” is brandishing a knife and that a police negotiator is in the room attempting to defuse the situation. We take you live to the scene:

Now THAT was a terrifying Halloween video…. the guy trying to control his fear so as not to spook Charlie… been there, done that (with kitten busy swallowing a needle, thankfully blunt end first). Soooo scary!

Give daddy the knife… not a good day I’d say.
Charlie knows where his “bread is buttered”. Butter, knife… get it.

Good grief, how’d little puppers get a knife?! Glad, someone was able to “dis-arm” before things got really dicey. Had a similar thing happen with my dog Amber, found her chewing on the plastic handle of a knife but couldn’t see the blade anywhere. I was in absolute panic mode thinking she had swallowed it and had visions of emergency surgery going thru my brain when I found it under the stove. Whew!!!! Talk about a close call. Still have no clue how she got hold of that knife but after that knives were switched out to all metal (handles and blades) and were kept out of her reach.

The hostage doesn’t exactly look worried, does he? More interested in where the extra dog treats are stored.
