Jurassic Park: The Shrinkening

The long-running franchise about the world’s deadliest tourist attraction continues, as biologists solve the problem of dinosaurs eating and stomping on people by making them really, really small.

But the T. Rexes still bite people on the legs.

These are actually coatimundi, from new sender-inner David (via Imgur).

    I’d risk it.

    This has been my favorite picture on the internet for a long time! I think the original caption was something like “it took my brain far too long to realize that they are, in fact, not miniature brontosaurus/oi/i”
    Day=made. Thank you NTMTOM!

    Hey lady! Give us those shoes to nibble on and we might leave those gams alone.

    If there was a brontosaurus that big (small?) I would HAVE to have one.

      Like the Russian billionaire with the pocket giraffe…

        Yeah, I would ‘jump on it”, too, if I had a chance at a pocket giraffe that would give me kisses.

        Ahhhh, the lap giraffe! I’m still waiting for mine… 🙂

    I saw what they were right away so I didn’t understand the joke until I took a second look and saw that the tails could be seen as necks. ?

      Me either. I was thinking “They look like pointy-nosed raccoons to me.” I had to click on the Imgur link and see the line about them not being tiny brontosauruses.

        They’ve done more research since 2012, and they now think the brontosaurus WAS real, and the apatosaurus was ALSO. I only know this because I looked it up yesterday. 🙂

          Ha! Good to know 🙂

    My favourite Cutetropolis pic to date.
    I had to google coatimundi before I realized what this was. I, too, would love a mini brontosaurus. I checked, and there is NOTHING in the bylaws against dinosaurs.

    An instant Cutetropolis fave!!

    I can’t unsee the dinosaurs! I was very sad when apatosaurus replaced brontosaurus. I’ve just checked, and am happy to learn they are two different sauri after all.

    Oops, I feel a song coming on …

    Who’s sauri now?
    Who’s sauri now?
    Whose tail is wailing and going kerpow?
    Who’s kinda green?
    Though not so mean?
    Just like a dino who’s neato and keen.
    Right to the end,
    Just like a friend,
    I tried to warn you somehow.
    It got too cold;
    I could have told
    You that you’d be sauri now.

    With apologies to Bert Kalmar, Harry Ruby, and Ted Snyder.

        Me too!

        And I love coatis way more than dinosaurs.
