I saw what they were right away so I didn’t understand the joke until I took a second look and saw that the tails could be seen as necks. ?
Me either. I was thinking “They look like pointy-nosed raccoons to me.” I had to click on the Imgur link and see the line about them not being tiny brontosauruses.
When I posted this on Facebook my cousins where all like “yeah, they were everywhere in [insert South American coyntry].”
Then one if them (the vet), was like “btw you know brontosaurus aren’t real (https://www.npr.org/2012/12/09/166665795/forget-extinct-the-brontosaurus-never-even-existed) right?!”
I am so provincial 🙂
They’ve done more research since 2012, and they now think the brontosaurus WAS real, and the apatosaurus was ALSO. I only know this because I looked it up yesterday. 🙂

I had to google coatimundi before I realized what this was. I, too, would love a mini brontosaurus. I checked, and there is NOTHING in the bylaws against dinosaurs.

I can’t unsee the dinosaurs! I was very sad when apatosaurus replaced brontosaurus. I’ve just checked, and am happy to learn they are two different sauri after all.
