Molly and Wally are a wombat couple in Budapest. In this 2013 video, they showed off their newborn baby, who got a rear-view of the world from the safety of mom’s pouch.
Murray C. has been sending in lots of wombats for Wombat Wednesdays!

“who got a rear-view of the world” LOL! The little head peeking out reminds me of way I used to kneel down on the back seat of the car looking out of the rear window during car trip when I was a kid. That was long before seat belts and child safety seat.
Wombats, wombutts and a wombaby. I wuv Wombat Wednesday!
Soโฆthey poop cubes and their pouch is on backwards? I think they’re totally making it up as they go along! ๐
Smartypants, you have me i stitches.?
๐
I didn’t know they had backwards pouches!
So they don’t get dirt in the little one’s face when burrowing or digging.
Makes sense.
๐ !
Good on ya, Murray C.!?? Keep up the good work!
The leetle white eye capsules! Squeeee! ?
I can’t believe I didn’t see this post earlier today! I live for Wombat Wednesday.
So adorable. But wouldn’t it feel like being pregnant LONGER, with the kid popping in and out?
If I were that Mom, I’d be telling that kid:
Come on already, In or Out!!
For you wombat lovers, the Columbus Zoo recently shared some cute pics of their wombat named Glen:
