I like how some of them clearly aren’t so sure about this whole “water” thing just yet…
Those adorable round puppy butts with flagpole tails!!!!
It’s -24 celsius (-11F) here today I think I’m going to put this video on a loop and keep watching it all day.
Please watch to the end! So worth it. Thank you Mike.
Where is this magical place?! Sigh.
Daddy teaches without one woof or word.
Amazing that other than one little puppy squeak, there was absolutely no noise aside from panting and splashing and rustling grass.
It is wonderful how he looks after the pups when they’re swimming. And the location is doggie heaven. Good job, Faye!
juvenile freshwater lovesharks
I don’t know where these labs are, but it is sheer lab heaven! A lovely pond to swim in — and freshwater, no salt, no chlorine, so it doesn’t cause skin problems, and lots of grassy trails to run on, and fun brush to run through. What else could a dog want? Clearly, these dogs have earned some amazing karma in previous lives to end up growing up here, with a daddy who loves them and teaches them how to Dog so well!
They’re labs: the “what else” they want is food
Well, yes. Food is always good — although our lab responded better to his favorite toy than treats when we trained him! I adore labs; they’re just *fun* dogs.
That was glorious, with all those adorable little scamperbutts!
We had a lab mix when I was growing up who could swim well but didn’t enjoy it. Whenever we were all swimming in the lake, he’d stand on the dock and watch carefully. If we got too far out, he’d finally walk in and swim around us, circling us like a big furry black shark. Once he was convinced we weren’t going to drown, he’d swim back to land. I still miss that sweet boy.
That was delightful. When I saw that it was seven minutes long, I was worried because I have about 40 seconds of attention span these days. But I was enthralled throughout the whole thing. No human voices. No loud dog barks. Just swimming hole bliss. I found myself constantly counting puppies to make sure that one didn’t get left behind.
I couldn’t believe 7 minutes had elapsed! I was mesmerized!
Same here. I think it actually helped to not have music. I love music, but like everything, it has its place, and here the only music needed was the sounds of nature. So blissful!
So glad you enjoyed dog Heaven as much as I did.
