The rusty spotted cat may be the smallest feline in the world (with a name that sounds like something a bartender might whip up), but this jungle cutie has super senses and savvy skill, as shown in this BBC video found by Gigi The cat lady.

Aww! They are only 14-19 inches long!
He’s like a pocket leopard! And he meows!!! ???
It’s hard to understand why Evolution would produce a creature so preternaturally cute AND lethal – a meowing, kittenish super predator.
Such a dainty little thing!
“Though [he] be tiny, yet [he] be fierce.”
I want a pocket leopard. Loved the big jump across the creek/puddle–sproingy cats are always beautiful.
How did I never know of their existence until today? I need about eleventy hundred of these in my house as pets….wild animals be damned.
I was just thinking the same thing! That clip was far too short; it didn’t even tell us what part of the world these pocket leopards live in. I do hope the full video is watchable in the US; so many of BBC One’s offerings aren’t. ?
India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, according to Wikipedia.

I call the window seat!
Squeeeee! I haven’t been this excited about The Cuteness since Mike introduced us to Quakkas. That is one beautiful yet adorable kitten.
DON’T LEAD A SOLITARY LIFE! Come and live with me!
Seriously, how big is the leaf he’s hiding under?
