Spontaneous space/time travel can be fun and rewarding, but also disorienting for novices. First-timers may emerge from the time vortex in a random location…
There may be a moment of dizziness or light-headedness…
… but with practice, you can be zipping from place to place with ease!
Is he doing a Color Run?
Let’s do the Time Warp Again!
Fantastic.
Okay, there has to be a backstory here – any idea????? Don’t think that’s a happy pooch!
Some information with one of the images references the Holi Festival in Farbpulver, Germany. Holi is a Hindu spring festival that involves throwing lots of colored dust around. It looks like the dog is shaking some of the dust off, and yes, might be a bit annoyed. Then again, dogs look like that when you catch them in mid-shake.
I won’t downvote this, because the dog and your set-up are cute, Mike. But Holi is *not* a safe festival for pets, so we should all be aware of that for the future. The colors can be very dangerous to animals—and they’re not necessarily all that safe for hoomins, but at least hoomins can choose for themselves. Pets and local wildlife can’t.
There are many articles about Holi pet-safety issues online. A quick websearch will bring them up, so I won’t bother to link here.
I still think Mike’s commentary is awesome.
I agree.?
I’ve done the Color Run, and that’s cornstarch and food coloring, but running through it had me coughing. I would never bring an animal through that. (Also, the yellow and blue were the hardest to get off. I looked like I had a huge bruise on my side where it got up under my shirt for two or three days.)
Is there really a Farbpulver, Germany? Farbpulver means “color powder” so it would be totally awesome if they hosted a Holi festival!
Oops, thanks for the translation! I guess I misread some information associated with the image.
I’m not going to say it. I am NOT going to say it.
Say what?
Phew! I have GOT to change my diet!
