Here we see the simple pleasures of being a self-sufficient dog: When there’s nobody around to toss the ball for you, just pretend the ball is a boat and send it sailing down the stream! Later, the ball drifted into a storm drain, but luckily a friendly clown appeared to offer it back…

Tennis balls float too.
Massive lol snerk on ‘friendly clown’ in the sewer and! hovertext on the previous links post with donkey leading goats. 😀 Ahhh, turning my cynical frown upside down!
Poor little thing! I’ll play with you, puppy!!
Want your ball back doggy?
Wow.
Dats FREAKIE ..
Brilliant 🙂
Nice find!
What an intrepid little doggie!
I don’t get the clown reference though….
Clown reference is from the horror movie “IT”. (from the Stephen King book of the same name)
Oh thanks. I stay away from movies like that cuz I’ll haz nightmares!
I saw it recently and really enjoyed it. It is super creepy! And that’s coming from someone who’s read the book and seen the old TV mini-series with Tim Curry. It creeped me out even though I knew what was coming.
There is nothing that isn’t cute about this adorable doggie playing with his ball! Very resourceful little guy. We could use him in our office….
I just love the tail wagging the entire time – it never ceases to amaze me how dogs will find something they enjoy and do it over and over – so happy.
That’s what i noticed, never ending tail wagging! Happy puppers!
On another note – and off topic, to be sure – my little Clementine is going in for surgery on Thursday to remove her eye. Over a year ago she developed glaucoma in her right eye – possibly through an injury, we really don’t know. I’ve been administering drops to maintain her pressure in the eye since then but yesterday I noticed the eye weeping and very irritated, then today at the vet I noticed there was blood in the eye itself. The pressure is very high and could rupture, so we’ve decided to go ahead and have her eye removed. She can’t see out of it anyway, but bunnies and anesthesia are a delicate balance and it’s nerve wracking. Poor little thing has been through so many medical events.
Awww Murray. Hope all goes well.
❤️???
I hope all goes well for little Clementine, she obviously has wonderful hoomins looking after her, please let us know how it goes.
Sending good thoughts her way! ??
Yar! Hopin’ she’ll be fine through surgery ‘n better on pirate day!
Hope all goes well for Clementine!
Thanks for your good wishes – I’ll keep you posted.
Oh no! I hope all goes well for her!
I hope everything goes well for Clementine.
Oh my gosh! Poor baby! Spoil her for all of us, please, and tell her that there’s a whole lot of people all over the world sending her get-well-soon wishes!
Holding good thoughts for Clementine and you!
We’ll be thinking of you on Thursday Murray C! Best wishes to Clementine for a speedy recover.
My Lily Bun sends all the good vibes for a speedy recovery! Eat hay and don’t forget to poop!???
Thanks all – Lunachick – good advice. I’m watching her like a hawk. It’s awful because her regular meds are causing her a lot of pain right after I put the drop in – it doesn’t last long but she runs around, obviously hurting – and I HAVE TO KEEP DOING IT! Keeping the pressure down in paramount right now. Having to inflict pain on your baby is HARD! I’m hoping a cold compress might help during those few minutes.
Oh I have been there! And with buns it’s such a balance because the stress can be just as dangerous to them as the cure. I’m sure liberal doses of treats will help.
???&?(the last one is for me)
Brave little dog! That’s deep water for someone so short. Taileo never stopped.
…we have dog biscuits down here…
?
heehee!
This is so sweet! What a happy puppers. Anyone else see the yoda ears?
Pretty brilliant puppers to figure out how to play fetch by himself
