For these hikers, a pooped pooch isn’t a burden
It all began when a devoted dog dad posted this photo with the caption “My dog loves hiking, but he has hip problems and sometimes this is how we finish hikes.”
And with that the march was on, as a parade of fellow dog hikers stepped up to share photos of their own.
Although they joked their dogs were “lazy,” they all went the extra mile for them.
Because whether they walk or hitch a ride, a dog’s a friend to the very end.
Love the backpup! Such a great smile.
I don’t know if it’s just me but some of the images aren’t loading. All I can see is the last one.
I could see the backpup only and none of the other images.
I’ll check it out. Sorry for the inconvenience.
A lot more smiles coming your way once they load!
Will check back when I get home tonight. I need some smiles. My friend’s father-in-law passed away last night and this morning I got a message from my mom that her sister (who is on home hospice) took a turn for the worse, and her brother (who is in an assisted living place right now) isn’t doing too well, either (and today is 6 years since his wife died). π
Working my way through the zoo animal reviews from the links post. Some good ones in there.
Oh crap Allein! Keep on keeping on and they are lovely smiles once you get them!
Thanks. Pictures working now. All cute, but backpup still my favorite.
So sorry βΉοΈ to hear. Sending hugs your way.
Thank you π
Nothing is easy. So sorry Allein.
I am so sorry to hear that Allein. hugs to you and your family.
Sorry to hear about your bad news. I’m glad we can be here for you.
Thanks, everyone. I’m glad, too. Lot of sadness on my mind today but this place always gives me a smile, at least.
On a happier note, my mom went home from the hospital yesterday. She’s sore and tired but doing okay, considering.
Itβs good to have happy news in the midst of all your sorrows. Hugs.
Aw, Allein, this is a tough year for you! I can only hope that whatever happens you can come to terms with it in a way that keeps your spirits reasonably steady. And I hope your Mom is OK. I haven’t lost a sibling yet – I only have a brother and he’s older – but I dread the time! Let her know the gang here is wishing her well, too.
Thanks, Murray. Yeah, it’s been tough. My cousin said my aunt is in “terminal agitation”; she has a 24-hour nurse, now (before they just had someone come over for a few hours a day to help with stuff). They can’t (or won’t?) say how long it might be. My cousin came up from North Carolina on Monday (her sister lives nearby, though).
My mom’s the youngest; her sister and brother are 10 and 12 years older, respectively (her other brother is 2 years older). She’s lost an in-law, but not a sibling. And she’s recovering from her surgery so she can’t even be there. π
I had to click on the Imgur link on the first 3 images to see those.
Good job, hoomins!
I can’t see all the pictures, either.
The first pupper is so cute I might start and end hikes with that cutie in my arms.
Dogs deserve everything good. ??
