Maru and Hana both love to play the Kicking Game, but they each have their own style. Sweet Hana keeps her claws daintily retracted, while aggressive Maru is out for blood.

    Awww, I love when cats do that – the look in Hana’s eyes is wildly funny. I miss the days when our cat would do that – I’d thump her on the flanks and she’d turn over on her back, then I’d scratch her belly and she’d kick, as I intoned “Kick!Kick!Kick! – it was such a good game. She’s too old and too arthritic to do that now. She still likes to have me thump her flanks, though.
