There’s a brand new camera at Maru and Hana’s house, and as you can see, the pair can barely contain their excitement. OK, we might have to wake them up and shoo them outside, because if we’re going to put this camera through its paces, we’ll need to put these two lazybones through theirs.

I want to know what she put on that … what is that thing they were jumping onto, anyway? A metal beam? Whatever it is, there was no obvious reason for them to climb onto the mound and jump up there. Was it coated in catnip oil? They didn’t appear to lick it once they got up there. I saw no treats. None of the usual ways to entice a cat into doing a trick.
